I found this product online from Colourb4.co.za It suggested i used it a few times prior to colour b4 to remove build up of hair products. This product is a cleansing shampoo which does not contain silicon, it comes in a bottle and smells quite nice, my hair felt clean after using it, just need to get the conditioner to go with it.
Definitely a must have product for home hair colourists, basically it is a bottle of shampoo, you use a walnut amount to wash your hair with 24 hours prior to colouring. My hair felt squeaky clean after washing, it removes all the products that can build up in your hair. I then used John Frieda precision foam permanent hair colour (another fab product) and I have been left with amazing results, with deep colour and my very strong greys have gone). I have achieved a better colour than I have ever had in a salon. Definitely a must have product.
I bought this product not really expecting much. I have dyed my hair several times in the past and was hoping that this would remove some of the old colour. Having applied the shampoo in treatment twice as instructed, my hair looked lighter when I blow dried it as if some of the old darker hair colour had washed out. I was really pleased with this as it means that I can use slightly lighter hair colours again in future. Plus it’s really cheap and you get several applications out of one bottle. I would definitely recommend this product for the price.
This product to me is brilliant, I have had trouble applying colour to my hair whereby it was left patchy and in some cases hair dye just did not want to take to my hair, I have never had this problem before, it must have been all the build up of conditioners and dyes which I have used continuously, using B4U colour has left my hair soft , very clean and manageable and it has even taken away some of the patchiness, the colour seems to be more blended now, I am so happy with this product and will always keep some in the cupboard, before I re-colour. I was nervous using this one especially as I have been dying my hair dark for a long time and I always got the “glowing roots” after about 4 weeks, I decided to give it a go after reading other reviews, and it works! smells great to…I also bought the colour stop and having been using that for three weeks and that is also great… a really amazing product – thanks.
I bought this shampoo as I use to have blonde highlighted hair but last summer I tried very dark brown. Although I like the dark hair Ive decided to go back lighter. I wanted to try and use a shampoo which wouldnt strip my hair and maybe just help the dark colour fade quicker. The dark was only a few semi’s but has stuck to my hair well so hasnt faded in 5/6 months! I was hoping this shampoo would help with some gradual fading. I followed the instructions but after drying my hair it hadnt really done anything with the colour and looked exactly the same. But the shampoo is more of a clarifying lotion therefore I wasnt suprised. However when using this it did make my hair squeaky clean therefore I imagine it would do a great job of helping to cleanse the hair before using hair colour and its only R79

To hydrate and protect your hair after colouring, use Colour Stop!
Wet your hair thoroughly and apply a coin-sized dollop of B4 U Colour into your palm. Apply to hair and lather – leave for 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and apply a second amount of B4 U Colour into your hair, lather well and rinse immediately. Do not condition. Your cuticle surface will be clarified and ready to be coloured.
To prevent cuticle build up and colour fading, use B4 U Colour once a week followed by Colour Stop!
Whilst B4 U Colour is effective at removing build up from the cuticle, it may not be effective at reversing permanent silicone damage caused by large amounts of silicone products entering the hair’s cortex.
